Papers must be electronically submitted through the web application at https://gestor.economicsofeducation.com/
Authors are invited to submit applied and theoretical papers in all areas of economics of education for presentation at the Meeting of the Economics of Education Association. There is a limitation of two papers submitted by each author.
Submission process
-The deadline for abstract submission is the 8th March 2026.
-Communications may be of two types: 1) a full article, or 2) an extended abstract. Full articles will be given priority during the review process.
-Full articles and extended abstracts will be evaluated by a scientific committee for acceptance to be presented at the conference and the authors will be notified.
-Only accepted entries from registered members will be included in the final program.
Instructions for authors:
1. Full article: Maximum length: 40 pages, 10,000 words (including tables and references)
2. Extended abstract: at least 1,000 words covering the following elements in sufficient detail: objectives, motivation, contribution to the existing literature, data sources and database description, a well-justified methodological approach (including a clear explanation of its suitability to the research problem), and preliminary results.
1 and 2. In both cases, an abstract of no more than 200 words must be included. The text must have the following characteristics:
- Paper size: A-4
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font size: 11pt
- Line spacing: 1.5 spaced
- Margins: Top 3 cm., Bottom 2 cm., Left 3.5 cm., Right 2.5 cm., Header 2 cm., Footer 1.5 cm.
-Authors must also select a subtitle under which they would like to submit their work for evaluation. Captions are listed below and will be used both in the evaluation process and in organizing presentations at the Meeting.

It is necessary that authors fulfill the style and space limitations; otherwise, the paper would not be eligible for the conference.
The document should be uploaded in PDF format to the platform.
The Scientific Committee will select the papers to be presented during the conference. The decision will be communicated to the authors on the scheduled dates.
Accepted papers will only be included in the final program if the presenting author has registered and paid the registration fee before the registration deadline.
PhD students and those researchers who are up to their second year of post-doc can apply for the M.J. San Segundo Prize. The final decision on the winners will be announced during the Gala Dinner to be held on the evening of Friday, June 27, 2025. More information can be found here.
